We toyed with the idea of hiring a car during our visit to Iceland, but decided instead to take arranged coach tours to some of the sights we wanted to see. I often see the vibrant red buses of City Sightseeing in our own home town of Bournemouth, but until now we have never been on one. On our first full day in Reykjavik, Iceland, we decided to hop on one their local bus for a tour of the beautiful city. Opal Apartments Iceland – Review

When travelling with the kids, we prefer to stay in a apartment or cottage as it gives us more space and the chance for the kids to have their own space. During our stay in Iceland, we stayed at Opal Apartments which are situated on the main Laugavegur Street – one of the oldest streets in Iceland’s capital.
