Day 3 – Our Final Day at Santa’s Lapland

Saariselka

The final day of our visit to Santa’s Lapland was a nice relaxing day in comparison to the busyness of the Search for Santa day the previous day. Check-out time at the Saariselkä Inn is 10am, so we got up, dressed and packed everything up before we had breakfast so we could make the most of the time we had left. We did chuckle that the coach drove us two… Continue Reading “Northern Lights Adventure with Santa’s Lapland”

Tucked in our pockets were our magic tickets (the kids letters to Santa, that we had “posted” a few weeks previously) and the timings for our husky rides, the only set time given on the day. The rest of the day we could do whatever took our fancy. We arrived to a covering of fresh snow… Continue Reading “Searching for Santa at Santa’s Lapland”

Staying in Santa’s Saariselkä Inn with Santa’s Lapland

Saariselka

We have just got home from a magical break with Santa’s Lapland and we had the most amazing time. Going on a Santa break is not cheap, especially when you take into consideration that you are only actually on resort for around 48 hours and I priced up lots of options before I made our booking last year. In the end I opted for the cheapest option which was staying in the Saariselkä Inn. but I have to admit this was the only part of the holiday that was slightly disappointing. The hotel itself is built in a traditional Lapland style… Continue Reading “Staying in Santa’s Saariselkä Inn with Santa’s Lapland”
