During our visit to Portugal in half term, we spent two days staying centrally at the Martinhal Chiado hotel, which is set in one of the trendiest areas of Lisbon. The hotel is the perfect base to not only stay with the kids, but is also within a stones throw of the main transport network, offering the chance to explore everything Lisbon has to offer, whether by foot, underground, tram, bus or even tuk tuk. A visit to Pena Palace with the kids

In my last post I talk about visiting the beautiful town of Sintra and Castelo Dos Mouros with the kids. Once we had climbed down from the castle, we caught the 434 tourist bus to take us up to Pena Palace, the most popular tourist attraction in Sintra. It is possible to walk it but it is situated at the second highest point of the Serra da Sintra so not ideal for little legs. Martinhal Cacais – the perfect location for a family holiday in Portugal

Over half term we were lucky enough to spend a few days in Lisbon, Portugal with Martinhal Resorts.
